Overlord 11 gains 0.4k sales, going from 223rd to 222nd all time.

Thread updated for latest weekly rankings:

KonoSuba vol 10 passes the 30k and 50k marks. It's sold more than the RE of volume 9 did, and looks like it could well overtake the total sales as well.
Shousetsu Kimi no Na wa., despite losing its top place on the weekly rankings (probably forever), sold 51079 copies in total, bringing its tally to 1345883, and putting it in second all time. Which is where it will stay for the foreseeable future.
Kimi no Na wa. ANOTHER SIDE:EARTHBOUND goes from 73rd to 65th all time, and in so doing becomes the second highest sales figure for any Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko volume (behind Haruhi 10). Which is also where it will stay for the foreseeable future.
Shousetsu Byousoku 5 Centimetre, Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu and Bungou Stray Dogs all rerank in the weekly rankings after having appeared in the monthly ones, so don't really do much. Bungou Stray Dogs passes 50k sales though.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken 9 and Okitegami Kyouko no Ryokouki enter the all time rankings.

Thread updated for w/c 5/12/2016

Shousetsu Kimi no Na wa. passes 1.5 million sales.

Kimi no Na wa. ANOTHER SIDE:EARTHBOUND passes 300k sales, and enters the top 50 all time by going from 51st to 49th

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken misses out on bestselling volume of the series status by just 61 copies. It's above the previous volume's reported sales from the weekly rankings, though, and is pretty much guaranteed to comfortably take the top spot in the monthly rankings if it doesn't do so sooner.

Accel World 21 enters the all time rankings, and a new release of Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu: Ima Suki ni Naru. enables it to pass 100k.

Updated for w/c 12th December

Kimi no Na wa. ANOTHER SIDE:EARTHBOUND becomes the second best selling volume of the year from the weekly rankings. It goes from 49th to 48th on the all time rankings.

Accel World 21 gets a decent second week, and passes the 50k mark.

Also added Ima Sara Tsubasa to Iwaretemo to the rankings. This is listed as Kotenbu Series 6 on the all time rankings list.

Strike the Blood 16 and Owari no Seraph: Ichinose Guren, 16-sai no Hametsu 7 also enter the all time rankings.

Also:
Removed bungou stray dogs from the redux rankings on account of the manga being the original - this will be changed the next time something is updated on the redux list. Also did various updates to things that aren't on this thread.

Thread updated for w/c 26th December 2016

Kimi no Na wa. ANOTHER SIDE:EARTHBOUND goes from 46th to 44th all time. It might be reaching the end of its run now.
All in all this has been a relatively slow year for light novel sales.
Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou 5 becomes the bestselling volume of the series, taking it from 176th on the redux list to 158th.

Aside from any changes that need to be made (and a couple of things that MAL doesn't include which could plausibly be on the week's rankings) that is it for this year now.

Sellers from the weekly rankings over certain thresholds during the year: (extra zeros added to make the table line up)
amount - 2014 - 2015 - 2016
010000 - 0375 - 0366 - 0297
020000 - 0189 - 0182 - 0159
030000 - 0123 - 0130 - 0108
050000 - 0068 - 0087 - 0058
100000 - 0032 - 0031 - 0019
200000 - 0005 - 0007 - 0004

Things have been rather skewed by Kimi no Na wa., but overall the sales seem to be down - the total sales of 30k+ sellers is about 1.6 million lower this year than last. This is partly due to some series that were big last year ending (Naruto Hiden) and others not having any volumes out this year (OreGairu) but also is a result of widespread sales drops, with some series like Kagerou Daze dropping precipitously (a drop of 52% from one volume to the next without an absurdly large gap between them is disasterous).
On the increase side, meanwhile, anime adaptations have been considerably fewer than previous years, and those that there have been were disproportionately from less popular series, which will always see smaller sales boosts. Grimgar joining the 20-30k tier is a significant boost for the series in question, but it really doesn't make much of an impact on the grand scheme of things. KonoSuba and Re:Zero did see big boosts, of course, with both having joined the 50k+ tier, albeit only marginally in the latter's case, but they pale in comparison to the huge boosts that Overlord and DanMachi got. There have been series that have grown this year without anime adaptations to help them, though. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is the standout case - last year it seemed to be flatlining at about 15k sales per volume, but this year it has skyrocketed and at its current rate the next volume will likely sell over 40k before leaving the weekly rankings. Arifureta, a standout new series last year in terms of sales figures, has seen its growth slow but continue nonetheless, and this too is now pulling in over 30k sales and has comfortably claimed Overlap's bestselling new volume of the year despite Grimgar's anime.

Of course, Kimi no Na wa. has sold over 1.6 million copies between two editions. In just a single year that is not just impressive, it is comfortably the best year ever for any volume that is included in these rankings.
